Storage Heater Replacement: Mr and Mrs Gladden
Mr & Mrs G live in a 3 bedroom detached house in Norfolk which had outdated storage heaters installed throughout and the couple felt they were not ideal, as they had little control over their heating.
Three years previously, their daughter had bought Ducasa radiators and had been delighted with them as she had gained heat where and when she wanted. Therefore when Mr & Mrs Gladden considered changing the way they heated their home, they contacted us on the strength of her recommendation.
The couple believed that the lack of control offered by storage heaters meant that they always had to think in advance about whether they would need to turn them on for warmth the next day, and then often found it was too hot in the morning but not warm enough in the evening.
With a log burner in their living room, the storage heat in that room was often wasted and the bedrooms were heated needlessly.

They were able to connect the new heaters to the existing storage heater points and therefore there was very little disruption to the home. With the large choice of wattages available, Ducasa could supply exactly the right heating requirement needed.
The Avant DGP multi zone system offers 24/7 programming of every radiator in the house giving flexible control around the home. The radiators provide separate heating zones within the home with the benefit of comfort and set-back temperatures. A simple over-ride function means the radiators can also be temporarily adjusted without altering the entire programme. This combined with the multitude of energy saving features such as open window detection and adaptive start, the system really does allow the user to take control and save money.

Ducasa provided the radiator specification and heating requirements to the customers preferred electrician, who visited Mr & Mrs G in their home to check the suitability of the household wiring and arrange installation.
As Ducasa keep a fully stocked warehouse, the installer was able to order the radiators and collect them when he needed them, providing an excellent service for both him and his customers.
He appreciated the ease with which the radiators can be installed, due to the patented ‘quick fit’ design which means there is no need for measuring, or a spirit level to correctly position the radiators to the walls.
Once installed, the heating system is simple to programme and his customers welcomed the benefit of having total 24/7 control of their heating.
